Service Assistant & Lot Manager

Job Description: We are currently seeking a service assistant & lot manager to provide support for our PWC (Jet Ski) & Jet Boat service technicians and assist with customer drop-offs & pick-ups in our Service Department. You’ll be a valuable part of our powersports team providing overall assistance when and where it’s needed. Good starting pay and we will train the right candidate!

Job duties include:

• Bringing scheduled pick-ups down to the front of the building in the morning from the service lot.
• Retrieving the “next up” job for the techs and prepping the watercraft for entry into the shop area.
• Tagging and moving incoming service work into the lot at the end of each day with the tractor.
• Managing the chart with location of all watercraft staged in the service lot.
• Assisting customers with detaching their trailer on arrival and hooking them up on departure.
• Greeting incoming customers at the Service Counter and inputting service ticket information.
• General light maintenance in the shop area and storage building to keep it clean and neat.
• Special projects and occasional Washing & Detailing of watercraft.
• Assisting customers with detaching their trailer on arrival and hooking them up on departure.
• Charging, testing and tagging batteries.
• Customer trailer lights troubleshooting, tire pressures and wheel bearing check ups.

No experience necessary, but the following items are a plus for this position:

• Experience driving a tractor or off-road vehicle.
• Know how to back a trailer.
• Organized and motivated to be a team player.
• Customer service skills and good phone etiquette.
• Able to follow directions and specific procedures.
• Jet Ski and/or Power Sports enthusiast.
• Basic knowledge and/or riding experience with BRP Sea-Doo, Yamaha or Kawasaki PWC’s.
• Must be clean and neat appearing.
• Good work ethic & good attitude.
• Have your own basic hand tools.
